Table of contents Introduction The Truth about Cleopatra Life as a Pharaoh Julius Ceaser Mark Anthony Her Death Conclusion Bibliography

Introduction Cleopatra was an Egyptian pharaoh and she was great at it. But do you know that she was more then a pharaoh? I thought she was just a pharaoh too, until I did a little bit of research. Now I’m going to share with you what I found about Cleopatra.

Cleopatra She was said to have not been anything close to beautiful. Even though she wasn’t beautiful, she was still a very seductive women. She could also sing and she was very smart. She could speak 9 different languages She was the first Ptolemy pharaoh who could actually speak Egyptian

The Truth about Cleopatra Cleopatra was the last Egyptian queen of her time. Cleopatra lived from 69-30 B.C.E. She took the throne at age 18. Even though Cleopatra was an Egyptian queen, her family was Macedonian Greek. During her reign, the Roman Empire threatened Egypt and won. With the help of Julius Ceaser and Mark Anthony, they kept Egypt independent for 20 years

Life as a Pharaoh She ruled Egypt like no other ruler before her. Her family ruled Egyptian in a succession She was said to have had a relationship with Julius Ceaser and Mark Anthony.

Julius Ceaser Cleopatra met Julius Ceaser when she rolled herself up in a Persian carpet and was given to him. Julius fell in love with Cleopatra and they had a child 9 months later. They named their child Caesarion which means little ceaser. Cleopatra wanted Caesarion to be to next ruler so she killed anyone who stood in her way. Ceaser was then assassinated on 15 March 44 BC.

Mark Anthony After the death of Ceaser, Mark Anthony fell in love with Cleopatra. Cleopatra was the mother of his twins. But Mark had to return to Rome to marry the daughter of Octavius He did this so he could gain power in Rome.

Her Death Her reign for Egypt soon ended when she committed suicide when she lost the battle the Battle of Actium to Ceasers heir. It was said, Cleopatra died because she poisoned herself or she was bitten by an asp (snake). Many artists portrait that she let the asp bite her, while others say she made the asp angry enough to bite her. After her death their was no more pharaohs never to rule Egypt again.

Conclusion Through this report, I have learned much about the pharaoh Cleopatra. I never even knew she existed. All I knew was her name. Now I know lots about her. I hope you now know more about Cleopatra now then I did before.
