The Electrical Equipment can be incorporated into a Facial Treatment - reinforces effects of manual Facial Treatment or achieves results not possible with manual Facial Treatment alone. Some use the current to work the Electrical Equipment to produce the required results. 5. WHERE? In Beauty salons/Spas/Skin Care Centers/Homebased salons & training institutions.

Apply knowledge of electricity to Beauty Therapy/Created by Cynthia Li/Version 2/ July Electrical Equipment – Brush 1. WHAT? Electric Brush Machine (also exists as battery one). 2. HOW? The Electric Brush Machine comes with a handle & brush head attachments. Brushes come in various sizes & textures from natural hair or nylon bristle. Brushes should always be moistened with water before use to soften the bristles. Controllable brush speed. Brushes can be rotated clockwise & anticlockwise. Speed of rotation should be moderate & brushes should be applied gently over the skin. Therapists do not need to rotate the brush as the machine does that for you.

WHEN? Can be used with a cleanser for deeper cleansing or with an exfoliant for more intense exfoliation. 5. WHERE? The correct brush size must be chosen adequately for the area treated (e.g. Big brush size for neck, cheeks & forehead. Small size brush for nose, chin & around eyes areas).
