Baseball B

I wrote to Dorian Shaw Ms. Shaw played for the Comets, the Chicago Bandits, and Michigan Wolverines. She traveled in the U.S. She started playing tee-ball when she was about 7 years old. She has been to Florida, Chicago, and New York. She went to University of Michigan. She currently coaches at George Mason University.

All equipment You need a baseball bat to play. You need a baseball mitt to play too. You need a baseball too. You need three bases, a pitchers mound; and a home plate. A catcher needs special equipment. Batters wear a batting helmet for protection. Players wear special shoes called cleats.

How fast is a baseball thrown? Baseballs are thrown at about 62 to 70 miler per hour. Fastballs are thrown at 95 to 99 miles per hour. The hitters do not have much time to think and react when facing the games hardest throwers.

Some facts of baseball The pitcher throws the ball. The batter hits the ball with a baseball bat. Some batters can make a home run; some cant, but most of them can. Baseball can be dangerous. A baseball is hard.

Answers Ms. Shaw plays baseball because she love the challenges. She started when I was 7 years old. Because her sister was also playing tee-ball. I play in the U.S. professional league called National Pro Fastpitch or NPF.

All About me I am 7 years old. I am in Mrs. Polanskis class. I love math and science, also I like music. I like computers too; but mostly math, exercising, snow boarding, sign language, race cars, and vacations. I also like animals and China.
