Social Stratification Part I: Using online news resources, find three articles discussing recent (within the last five years) incidents of social deviance -- specifically, locate one incident from each of the following social classes: upper class, middle class, and underclass (impoverished).  All three articles must originate from the United States.  For each article, you will A.) provide a brief summary of the events involved in the deviant act, B.) how the deviant act that occurred could be tied [more or less] to the social class where it originated , C.) any action taken by the government / controlling power in response to the deviant act in question.  Be sure to discuss any ways in which the outcome of the deviant act could be attributed to the offending individual's social class! Part II:  Visit the web pages below and, after reading, draft a brief memo to the Secretary of Health and Human services addressing the issue of food deserts.
