Today’s Agenda: Reading and Journaling Homophone Review Homophone Bingo

What’s a Homophone? “Homo” means same “Phone” means sound So what does the word Homophone mean?

Homophone: one of two or more words pronounced alike but different in meaning or derivation or spelling (such as the words to, too, and two)

Today we are playing Homophone Bingo Send one person from each table to pick up your supplies If my supplies are abused the game will immediately end and we will do grammar worksheets instead.

Closing Question On a sticky note, use TWO homophones in one sentence and put it on the board. Put your name on it!
