THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD I. The Family Feature of the Church A. The term house is used to designate family. (Josh. 24:15; Acts 10:2; Heb. 11:7; Lk. 1:27) B. The church is referred to as the “house of God” meaning the family of God. (1 Tim. 3:15; Eph. 2:19; 3:4-5)

THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD II. The Nucleus of the Family A. God is the Father (Eph. 4:6; 1 Cor. 8:6; Mt. 23:9) B. Jesus is Son over the house of God (Heb. 3:6) & Christians are His brethren (Heb. 2:11). C.
