Lascaux Caves in France Black Bull Lascaux Caves in France

-In 1940, a cave was accidentally found by children and their dog. The kids accidentally threw a ball into an underground cave. Looking for their ball in this cave, they found cave paintings on the walls. These walls had drawings of animals and people. People believe this is the beginning of art since some of these caves that have been found are 30,000 years old.

What do you think a cave wall feels like? What did the cave artist use to paint on the walls? Why do you think they drew what they drew?
