Main Points of Presentation The Integrate IPoA into National Plan and sectoral Plans, The Monitoring of NSDP and IPoA in the context of SDG Opportunities Challenges

The Integrate IPoA into National Plan and sectoral Plans The Implementation of IPoA will done through The National Plan, Sectoral Plans and sub-National Plans. The process of SDG localisation into national context not yet finish. The IPoA and CSDG Framework will be integrated in NSDP 2019-2023.

The Monitoring of NSDP and IPoA in the context of SDG In the context of SDG, the monitoring will be conducted for every year (NSDP, IPoA, and CSDG). The Monitoring will focus on the yearly Progress/ achievement of targets of NSDP, CSDG and IPoA. The Monitoring can be conducted jointly between NSDP, IPoA and CSDG. A joint report will be prepared but IPoA progress report will be prepared separately.

Challenges of IPoA Monitoring within the context of SDG Opportunity The Monitoring is an existing mechanism, that we conduct for NSDP; The monitoring of NSDP is based on list of core indicators that targeted for every year; (Chapter 6) The indicators of IPoA and CSDG would be integrated in the list for Monitoring.

Challenges of IPoA Monitoring within the context of SDG (con’t) Opportunity (con’t) MOP under process of M&E System preparation; National M&E Policy, Institutional arrangement (Steering Committee, Technical Working Group, and secretariat); Information system for M&E. The mechanism would apply for conduct Monitoring of all policy strategies, and plan.

Challenges of IPoA Monitoring within the context of SDG (con’t) The monitoring is based mainly on actual data and information compare to target of each indicators that targeted for every year; According to Rapid Integration Assessment, in the context of SDG, we have existing data support only around 35% of total SDG indicator.

Challenges of IPoA Monitoring within the context of SDG (con’t) Challenges (con’t) We still face on the lack of data support for monitoring and evaluation the due to the data collection through survey and census previously supported by DPs. National budget still cannot fully cover the data collection activities. The capacity for Monitoring of government officials still limited.
