Presented to the OneCarolina Aiken Team and Campus Constituents Special Topic Session BDMS Banner Document Management Suite Presented to the OneCarolina Aiken Team and Campus Constituents Stephanie M. Foote, Ph.D. and Andrew Hendrix April 22, 2011

Special Topic Session What is BDMS? When will it be implemented? BDMS is an acronym for Banner Document Management Suite This is the system that will provide us with the tools we need to image (scan), store, and manage documents. When will it be implemented? BDMS will be implemented in time for Admissions Go Live in July. OneCarolina Aiken

Special Topic Session Where will it be implemented? BDMS will first be installed to be used to image Admissions-type documents (e.g., applications, immunization forms, etc.), but it can and should be used across the entire campus. How will it be implemented? Training? Selected staff in the Admissions Office received initial scanning and indexing training through the OneCarolina project. Additional training will take place as the project progresses, and will be based on user roles, etc. OneCarolina Aiken
