1. Company overview and strategy Tidal energy The company’s vision is to deploy turbine arrays under the ocean’s surface to produce energy silently, invisibly and with no impact on the environment.

Company Overview and Strategy Turbine testing OpenHydro has been testing at the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) since 2006; grid connected in 2008. 2014/15/16 testing focused on new power convertor (ABB) and in-house developed control system: Over 10,500 hours testing of current turbine. 16% improvement in turbine efficiency.
