HUSQVARNA ERGONOMICS

NATURAL POSITION The basis for designing products

Distance between front and rear hand positions. A distance between the handles the same as the width of a normal man’s (or woman’s) shoulders, makes it easier to control the saw. The greater width between the user’s hands also makes the machine cut deeper when held symmetrically

CUTTING AT GROUND LEVEL Distribution of force. 8.2 lbf 19.2 lbf 4.2 lbf 15.4 lbf 22 lbf 22 lbf

NATURAL POSITION The basis for designing products

VERTICAL CUTTING Distribution of force. Wider-spaced handles means that less force is needed to lift the rear handle and apply pressure to the working point. Greater distance between the user’s hands, both vertically and horizontally, also offers more precise control, which leads to higher precision.

VERTICAL CUTTING Distribution of force. 4.9 lbf 17.2 lbf 21.0 lbf 9.7 lbf 22 lbf 22 lbf

HORIZONTAL CUTTING Distribution of force. With a handle on each side of the center of gravity, your grip becomes more symmetrical and puts a more natural load on your body.

HORIZONTAL CUTTING Distribution of force. 29.8 lbf 21.6 lbf 4.4 lbf 4.0 lbf

SUMMARY Husqvarna’s design is more ergonomical, because of: Position of center of gravity Handle positions This means: Less stress on the body Less fatigue Better precision Better efficiency/Cuts faster

EFFICIENT ENGINEERING = SMART SOLUTIONS

A well balanced weight relation between engine and handle unit with exactly positioned av-springs reduces vibrations to below 5 m/s2. This will cause less fatigue and give better productivity.

WHY HUSQVARNA The whole intake system is built into one module. Makes it very easy to dismount for repair if needed. K750

WHY HUSQVARNA X-TORQ®, piston controlled technology that provides less emissions, 60-70% less fuel consumtion, -15%, more cutting power, +10%. DuraStarter™ with long-life starter rope. Sealed mechanism and rope will provide durable function for months! Can even be pressure washed!

WHY HUSQVARNA Poly-V belt drive not only ensures excellent durability and virtually everlasting life. It also transmits the power and torque from the engine to the blade with a minimum of powerloss and slippage. Extremely important in order to utilize the excellent bottom end power in the X-Torq engines.

WHY HUSQVARNA Husqvarna X-TORQ®, a better choice for the environment.

WHY HUSQVARNA Active air filtration is one of the most effective air filter systems on the market. The cyclone air filter system has also shown itself to be a good system.

WHY HUSQVARNA By loosening only two screws the whole power head can be removed and reverse for outboard cutting.

WHY HUSQVARNA See through window in the fuel tank to easily determine how much fuel is left. Makes it easier to plan the work. Conveniently placed holder for the combination spanner. Especially useful for rental companies and their customers.

WHY HUSQVARNA The water valve is conveniently located to make it easy to adjust to the correct amount of water during each specific application.
