Great Britain Toska Ymerhalili

Before World War One Britain was: Peaceful One of the most technologically developed countries (the discovery of railroads had led to the expansion of the cities) There was pension for older people and education for the younger people. Colonizing ¼ of the Globe. Had an alliance with France, Russia and Italy.

Why was Britain forced to enter the war? Short term reasons The only way Germany could get into Britain was through Belgium. Germany was able to attack France through Belgium so Great Britain to be able to protect their own country declared war on Germany Long Term reasons Britain became rival with France and Germany because they all wanted to colonize Africa When the Russians wanted to take over the Dardanelle, they saw this as a threat to their trade with India.
