MoPix (1997)
MAGpie (2000)
Captions and Online Video The majority of online videos are self-generated, with original content that is not accessible to millions of people who are deaf or hard of hearing because the videos are not captioned. Federal regulations and related litigation will continue to dramatically increase the number of online videos that are required to be captioned, with high-quality captions.
Captions and Online Video Automated speech-to-text captioning does not provide reliable captions: spelling errors missing punctuation obscenities No simple, inexpensive, offline caption-editing software for creating quality post-production online captions, or audio-description scripts. Continued requests for MAGpie upgrade or replacement.
