University College South As from 1st January 2008 all Danish medium-cycle higher education institutions were re-organized into 8 new University Colleges.  University College South (former CVU Sønderjylland and Kolding College of Social Education),  was one of them. University College Syd, Titel 26. december 2018

UC South covers Southern Jutland and has approximately 3,600 students and 420 members of staff. The study programmes and activities of UC South take place in 4 different regional locations: Kolding, Haderslev, Aabenraa and Sønderborg, the joint administration being located in Haderslev. International Academic Cooperation and Activities University College South is involved in various international projects (Comenius, Erasmus, Nordplus and Interreg), in areas such as school leadership, didactics of natural sciences, foreign language teaching, e-learning and distance education, health promotion, nursing, and social education.
