PARCC Assessment – Task Type I Type I Tasks assess concepts, skills and procedures Balance of conceptual understanding, fluency and application Can involve any or all mathematical practice standards Machine-scored including innovative, computer-based formats PARCC Sub-Claim A-Major Content Sub-Claim B-Supporting & Additional Content 60% to 68% percent of test items are Type I More than half of the points on the assessment are from Type I items.
