Further Thickness Measurements of Eljen Scintillator Tiles Measurements of Lot # (5mm), Lot # A02 (4mm), Lot # (5mm)

So what are we doing this for? F To check the accuracy of Eljen claims F Limit error in our assumptions that our materials are ideal, or even close to it F To keep me off the internet

What did we find? Deviations are a bit worse than last reported Lot # (5mm) is between.8% and 9.9% Lot # (5mm) is between.4% and 12% Lot # A02 (4mm) is between 2.25% and 21.75%

What is not here but available Side profiles in graph form (as before) Original data in inches is available All data is in an Excel spreadsheet

What now? These results, combined with the last set of measurements show the deviation is considerable So do we use caution, or do we stop using these tiles?
