The Protestant Reformation AIM: How did the Catholic Church respond to the Protestant Reformation? Do- Now: How did Queen Elizabeth I help shape England during the Renaissance?

Catholic Church Responds Many German princes began taking sides: Lutheran and Catholic. Conflicts between these two faith/ governments erupted. The Catholic Church attempted to limit the impact of the Protestant Reformation through the Catholic Counter Reformation, which adopted many of Luther’s 95 Theses.

Classwork: 4/13/16 Complete DBQ’s on the Catholic Response to the Protestant Reformation. Be sure to write in complete sentences. While you don’t have to rewrite the questions, you should restate them in your responses. Be prepared to discuss!!!!
