I will be able to: Identify the appropriate steps to solve real world or mathematical problems So that I can: Apply my knowledge from previously learned mathematical standards (modules 1-6). Demonstrate my understanding on how I got my solutions to the math problems I will show that I understood it by working with my groupmates to answer the most questions successfully through the completion of the review Jeopardy. 6.MP.1 6th grade standards

Language Objective By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use the language domains of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Students will listen to and verbally communicate with their partners to evaluate/solve these real world or mathematical problems by persevering to solve the Jeopardy questions to show their understanding. Academic Math language Vocabulary: Expressions, equations, variables, data points, statistics, graphical representation of data, area, volume, ordered pairs (all vocabulary from modules 1-6).

Process Writing Question

Process Writing Question Explain how you would find a 15% tip on a $103.67 dinner bill? And find the total amount adding the tip to the original bill.

The actual total would be $119.27 Process Writing Question Since we know that a $103.67 can be rounded to $104, next we find 10% of the bill. Which is $10.40.
