With your Partner, answer the following questions about the New England Primer In what ways does the New England Primer reveal the importance of religion in colonial Puritan life? List and explain the values children would learn along with their ABCs.

Now, with your partner… You and your partner will be assigned two letters of the alphabet. Come up with a modern value that is taught in school. Present your value with a rhyme and a picture (like the New England Primer). We will get together at the end of class and check out our Rocket Primer.
