Searching the Databases EBSCO Discovery Services Ask the librarian a question Search physical items in the library View available publication titles Use this search box just as you would when performing a Google search. Keep in mind: The more specific your search sting, the fewer results you will get Try to search using broad terms to start i.e. use “learning disorders” before using “teaching children with Dysgraphia” Available journals by title Search String: A string refers to a sequence of characters, words, or other elements that are connected to each other in some way. A search string usually refers to a string of words or a phrase that is used to search and locate or retrieve a specific piece of information contained in a database or a set of documents. from www.learnthenet.com/glossary/string
