Last, First 2 ½ cm Japan Pop-Ups 2 ½ cm Period ____ OTHER INSTURCTIONS Date project was started. 14 cm 7 ½ cm 7 ½ cm 2 ½ cm Volcanoes Earthquakes Shinto Wet-Field Rice -Make 3 paper springs. Cut out 2 ½ cm x 7 ½ cm strips. Fold each strip to make each spring. Draw and color a picture of a smoking mountain with shaking symbols to show an erupting volcano. (See p. 251 for details.) Draw and color a picture of the Shinto gate shown on p. 250 of the textbook. Draw and color a picture of plants in deep water. (See p. 251-252 for details.) 5 cm 7 ½ cm -Attach the paper springs to backside of each picture to make a pop-up. Zen Buddhism Feudalism Prince Shotoku Bonsai Tree Draw and color a picture of a Bonsai tree shown on p. 261. Write “Bonsai Tree” above the picture. Write “Zen Gardens” below the picture.
