The universe and us the light version U3Astronomy The universe and us the light version

Big bang The universe was created 13.7 billion years ago, the first stars 200 million years ago made up of Hydrogen and Helium 100 to 1000 x size of our sun. stars As they died and new ones formed through time heavier elements were created around the universe.

Our solar system and planets Pluto has been down graded from planet status?

Galaxies Are a huge collection of stars and dust first created 500 ml years after the BIG BANG, not as we see them today but irregular unlike our MILKY WAY.

180 bln stars 180 lt years across. we are part of the Milky waygalaxy 180 bln stars 180 lt years across.

OBSERVING THE HEAVENS WE ARE DRAWN TO THE NIGHT SKY TO SEE OUR PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE

HOW TO OBSERVE AND WHEN

Observations we can observe, planets, stars, constellations, nebulae, galaxies, atmospheric phenomenon, man made satellites and much more. Looking from earth or using space telescopes like humble or ground based radio and visual observatories or with the naked eye, binoculars or telescopes.
