Unit 2 Part 2

Setting is where the story happens. The setting of the Three Little Pigs is a forest.

Characters are the people in the story. The characters of the Three Little Pigs are three little pigs and a wolf.

plot Plot is what happens in the story. The plot of the Three Little Pigs is a wolf wanted to eat the pigs, but the 3rd pig built a strong house to save all the pigs.

There are many kinds of flowers on the earth. Flower- A flower is a colorful part of a plant that has the seeds. There are many kinds of flowers on the earth.

A petal is one part of the flower. This is one petal. This flower has 5 petals.

A bud is a new flower or leaf on a plant, before it has opened.

The sun is shining in the sky.

A leaf is one of the flat green parts of a plant.

You can put a seed in the ground and it will grow into a plant.

The height of something is how high or how tall it is.

The length of something is how long it is. I use a ruler to see the length of this pencil.

The sun gives light to the earth. Light- A light is something that shines to help you see in the dark. The sun gives light to the earth.
