Republic of Macedonia Ministry of Education and Science Directorate for Promotion and Development of the Languages in the Education for the Ethnic Minorities General for the directorate Established in 2002, fully equipped in 2005 year; Two units – Unit for languages and unit for children's rights and promoting the values of peace and tolerance; Takes care about the implementation of the constitutional and law obligations for education on mother tongue for the member of the communities; Together with the Pedagogical department is responsible for securing textbooks in the languages for the members of the communities;

Republic of Macedonia Ministry of Education and Science Directorate for Promotion and Development of the Languages in the Education for the Ethnic Minorities Policies and affirmative actions in the educational system for the members of the communities Macedonians, Albanians, Turks and Serbians are following the teaching classes in their mother tongue in primary and secondary education; On university level there are two Universities on Albanian language (one state and one private) and cathedra on Turkish and Serbian language;
