Roles of the Healthcare Workers Treat sick or injured patients Prevent future illnesses and injuries Recognize cases where the home could be affecting resident health (advise resident to contact a local environmental worker)

Roles of the Local Environmental Workers Identify potential environmental issues Improve environmental conditions in their community Assess homes at the request of residents for indoor air pollution (advise resident to contact a local housing official when necessary)

Roles of the Housing Workers Build and maintain the housing stock Continue to improve the heating efficiency in new designs Consider resident health when prioritizing housing needs

Roles of the Residents Keep a contaminant-free, ventilated, dry, safe, maintained, clean, pest-free home Monitor relative humidity levels in the home Act on advice to receive an assessment and to notify the appropriate housing officials when necessary
