After the Quiz Check it over! Put it face-down on the back table. Take a skill activity sheet from the back table. Open your book to page 94. Read page 94 and copy each of the 4 steps in BOLD only onto the activity sheet. Then read over page 95 too. Using the map on page 95, respond to the questions on the back of the paper. Do not do questions 7, 10, 11, or 12.

Egyptian Trade Routes Used the Nile River, Red Sea, Mediterranean Sea, and Euphrates River to trade Egyptians used many trade routes on land, too. Maps did not really exist early on, but people knew about trade routes by word of mouth. It is important to know how to read a route map so you can understand how the civilization functioned.
