LESSONS LEARNED Public awareness on ECD services and its advantages is needed to scale up program implementation; An integrated approach linking up sectoral policies and interventions has better impact; Change in knowledge, attitude and behavior of service providers is necessary for improved ECD outcomes;

Institutionalizing ECD through structures and systems will contribute towards sustainability of program; Responsibility should be given to local government units for policy-making, implementation and financing of interventions; Conducting social preparation in the community develops a sense of awareness and ownership of the program;

Building strong partnership/collaboration with local government units, non-government organizations and people's organizations is a necessary ingredient towards sustainability;

Taking care of our future, today . . . Early Childhood Care and Development Taking care of our future, today . . .
