What Happened After Worship? How Worship Affected Those Who Engaged in Worship in the New Testament

What Happened after Worship? Christians went Out and Spoke God’s Word with Great Boldness “And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.” Acts 4:31

What Happened after Worship? Christians Showed Love and Good Works “Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, and laid them at the apostles' feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.” Acts 4:34-35

What Happened after Worship? Men Read and Sought Understanding from the Scriptures “A man of Ethiopia…had come to Jerusalem to worship, was returning. And sitting in his chariot he was reading Isaiah the prophet.” Acts 8:27-28

What Happened after Worship? Men Examined the Scriptures to Verify what They had been Taught The Bereans “received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.” Acts 17:11

What Happened after Worship? Men and Women were Baptized and Showed Hospitality Now, a certain woman named Lydia heard us... The Lord opened her heart… And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us saying ‘Come to my house and stay.’” Acts 16:14-15

What Happens After We Worship? May our worship today move us… To share God’s Word. To do Good to Others. To Study our Bibles. To Obey God’s Word.
