Respiratory Care Clinical Bulletin For: All Staff Date: May 12, 2010

Please read the following 4 items. You must log your participation at the end of this bulletin .

Item #1: Defective Nebs Defective Aeroeclipse nebulizers are still showing up. The defect could result in patient getting inadequate treatment. Please look for an air leak on the tubing of all nebulizers. Leaking here Or here

Item #2: Bad adapter for O2 tubing If you see the bad connector, throw it away These bad connectors are not “barbed”, and tubing slips off easily. 
