J.C. Taylor Insurance – Collectible Auto Collectible Auto Market In 2007, it’s estimated that there are 3 million to 4 million collector cars in the United States. It’s also estimated that this “niche” market is worth $3 billion in premiums. The collector car market is massive, representing approximately 25 million interested participants who follow sales and auctions and approximately 6 million who actually own classic cars. According to Auto Trader Classics, the vast majority of the market is buying and selling vehicles priced from $15,000 to $50,000. With this type of investment, your customers may have a need that may have not been explored previously.
