Different Curriculums The requirements of the Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) curriculum set by the WA School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) are different to the national Australian Curriculum set by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA). After December 2016 in Western Australia the curriculum for History will no longer be a separate subject but will be incorporated into the Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) curriculum.
