General Liability Insurance Provides comprehensive protection for church sponsored operations. Coverage is provided against claims arising from negligence involving bodily injury, property damage, and personal injury, advertising injury and products liability.

Includes coverage for activities sponsored by the insured even if they are away from owned premises or offices, including supervised youth activities and pathfinder programs and activities.

Who is insured? Employees Volunteers Only for acts within the scope of their employment Volunteers Only for acts within the scope of their duties Church members Only for activities authorized by the church

Insuring Agreement The company will pay on behalf of the insured all sums for which the insured shall become legally obligated to pay as damages because of “bodily injury” or “property damage” to which this policy applies.

Bodily Injury Bodily injury, sickness, or disease sustained by a person, including death resulting from any of these at any time.

Property Damage Physical damage to tangible property, including all resulting loss of use of that property.

Personal and Advertising Injury Injury other than bodily injury arising out of one or more of the following False arrest, detention or imprisonment Malicious prosecution Wrongful eviction from a dwelling Slander or libel

General Liability Policy Limits Coverage A. - Bodily Injury & Property Damage Limit $1,000,000 Each occurrence Fire damage – any one fire Limit $1,000,000 aggregate Products or Completed Operations Broadcasters Liability Publishers Liability

Coverage B. - Personal & Advertising Injury. Limit $1,000,000 Coverage B. - Personal & Advertising Injury Limit $1,000,000 Per occurrence and aggregate Coverage C. - Medical Payments Limit $1,000 any one person Limit $10,000 any one occurrence

The General Liability policy is based on the “Occurrence” principle The General Liability policy is based on the “Occurrence” principle. The policy covers bodily injury and property damage that occurs during the policy period, regardless of when claim is actually made against the insured. (Form CG 00 01 01 96)
