Place What is it like there? Includes things like: Language Type of food Climate landforms How people dress Describe what you see
Human environment interaction All of the ways people affect the environment, and the ways that the environment impacts human life and society. Building Dams Floods Building roads, cities, bridges, etc. Earthquakes volcanoes Human environment interaction
Explains how people, goods, ideas, and diseases move from one place to another. How do ideas get around? Phone, talking, letters, technology People – walking, car, train, subway, plane Movement
A region has an unifying characteristic, like climate, land, population, or history. Example - DFW, Southwest United States, the Middle East, Etc. Region
