Abyssinian Crisis – was it to blame for the failure of the League? L/O: To assess the extent of damage the Abyssinian crisis had on the League in comparison to other factors. What was to blame for the failure of the League? After 1936 the League was accepted as a failure by many as it had failed to deal with Japan, Germany and Italy’s aggressive actions. These were member of the League itself! Now we will look back at all these events and decide which factors caused it to fail.
