Indigenous beadwork

Importance of beadwork for indigenous peoples Beadwork was used for trade in colonizaton of North America. Styles and design were different across First Nations across Canada First Nations use beadwork to inteerpret themselves. Before colonization beads were orignally quills and natural beads. Now beadwork is made with glass beads.
