Word Finder

Look for words that are interesting, confusing, or new. Find out what they mean and share with the group.

Passage Master

Find the most interesting passage in the story. Explain what makes it interesting, why does it appeal to you?

Question Master

Make up 5 questions for your group. Use where, what, who, when, how, and why starters. Try to make the questions interesting and tricky to answer.

Illustrator

Draw a picture of the whole text. Use diagram, cartoons, illustrations, but make sure you tell the whole text in picture form – include all the important events, information or details

Summariser

Use only 5 sentences or 50 words to describe what has happened in the text. Remember to include all the details.

Author

Choose a passage and rewrite from a different viewpoint. Retell to the others in your group

Story Teller

Read the story to yourself until you can retell it to the group without missing any important details, in the correct order.
