Welcome to the Building Future Leaders Project! 7_84 Welcome to the Building Future Leaders Project! Overall Goal More effectively build the leaders and team you will need to deliver greater impact What are your specific goals?

Note: Insert months of each working session The project is organized around five working sessions, which will be timed as follows Session 1: Kickoff and identify competencies (Month) Identify (via leadership diagnostic survey) where current management practices are effective (or not) in building leaders. Assess current and future needs to understand the kind of talent the organization requires. Session 2: Finalize competencies and plan communications (Month) Create (or refine from existing) core and leadership competencies tailored to the organization. Create a plan for communicating changes in leadership development processes to staff. Session 3: Conduct talent development review (Month) Apply your newly-developed competencies for evaluating performance to holistically assess all of your direct reports. Session 4: Co-create development plans and create individual succession plans (Month) Translate assessments of individual team members into actionable development plans anchored in job-embedded learning. Session 5: Set goals and create action plan (Month) Set goals for the continuous improvement of your leadership development efforts and develop a plan to track progress.
