peace I leave with you, my peace I give you John 14:27

Peace be with you

On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, Peace be with you.

When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them again, Peace be with you (John 20:19-21)

In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word for peace is Shalom. Righteousness and Justice

In the New Testament, peace is connected with the notion of fellowship.

Peace in Knowing Christ

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (1 John 1:8)

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faithand this not from yourselves, it is the gift of Godnot by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

We must THINK on the right things

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirableif anything is excellent or praiseworthythink about such things….and the PEACE OF GOD will be with you. (Phil. 4:8-9)

Develop an understanding and awareness of the GREATNESS of God.
