ACTION RESEARCH

What is an action research ? It is one type of applied research and conducted by a teacher , an administrator to aid in decision –making in local school. It focuses on the solution of day-to-day problems at the local levels. It is less rigorous in terms of design and methodology than other educational research .

What is an action research ? It is an approach in improving education by changing it and learning from the consequences of changes. It develops through a self-reflective spiral of cycles of planning , acting, observing , reflection, and then re-planning, further implementation , observing and reflecting.

Action research -is collaborative - is participatory - is the establishment of self-critical communities of work - is open-minded - is a political process

Action research - is a process that we “test “our ideas about our work - is working in small groups of collaborations
