Most Rome Houses Had Support Beams Outside To Hold up A Roof Over the Porch.

Most Of the Big houses cost a lot because they had more rooms and more area to live than small apartment buildings. Many wealthy people lived these houses they were usually built around a courtyard known as an atrium.
