Practically, Internet can be described as a multifunctional tool since we can use it for several purposes, such as: Seeking useful information Contacting people Entertainment

Briefly, Internet provides anything that we needs in the cyber world. Most people state that Internet is the main way to fill their leisure or as the savior from boredom also, saving cost from the aspect of message conveying since we are used to send telegram or writing a letter in the

past. With the presence of e- mail, Facebook, and many more webs, we dont more have to make phone call which also increases our bill. Thank god for Internet existence!

However… Internet can be the worst nightmare if we are not carefully handling it… Sometimes, dignity, money, love and everything left us because of this…

So, it is of utmost important to know the correct way of handling this cyber tool. This includes: Dont trust a website that is referred to you via an message from someone you didnt know!

Dont ever give your credit card, IC or phone number as a sign of identity verification or other purposes! A webpage can only be considered as secure if it begins with https instead of http. There is also a lock icon there for our assurance…

Dont post your pictures freely on communication webs as people can see them and may even take them and use them for certain purposes… If you are carrying out an online shopping, always stay alert of how much money you are spending!

Password that is going to be put must be quite hard to be guessed or unique even by people around us. Be careful when you are chatting since you dont know with whom you are chatting!

Those tips can be utilized by those who want to use Internet smartly and safely. Using Internet smartly and soundly just to prevent ourselves from being the victims of cyber crimes is not enough.

Being an ethical Internet user is also a responsibility as Internet is used by other people as well. An ethical Internet user WILL NOT: Interfere to the other people access to network resources…

Download pirated software Carry out plagiarism Send spam to other people These tips are useful for those who want to become ethical Internet users.

Sum up, Internet must be handled wisely in order to prevent us from any undesirable consequences. Happy Practice!

SPECIAL APPRECIATION…
