About EIANZ Not for profit, professional association for environmental practitioners Founded in 1987 Politically independent Embrace all disciplines of environmental practice About 2,000 members across Australia and New Zealand

All EIANZ members agree to abide by our Code of Ethics. Compliance with the code is central to sound environmental practice and the credibility of the profession.

Structure Two chapters: Australia and New Zealand Australian Chapter with Divisions in each state and territory, QLD has two divisions (Far North Qld and South East QLD) New Zealand Chapter is constituted as a single division – branches have been set up to organise events (Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch, Bay of Plenty)

Membership types Type Criteria Annual fee Application fee Full Member 2+ years’ experience and relevant qualification or 5+ years’ experience $AU295 / $NZ300 $AU60 / $NZ61 Associate Recent graduates or those with an interest in environmental practice $AU150 / $NZ153 Student Students undertaking full time or part time study in a relevant course $AU70 / $NZ71 N/A Delete fee that is not applicable – check that fees are current (listed fees are accurate as at 07.01.2016) Applications can be made for full, associate or student membership Qualification – degree, higher degree or graduate diploma Membership is for 12 months Fellow members are appointed at the invitation of the President Honorary Life and Honorary Fellow memberships awarded by the Board Fellow members are appointed at the invitation of the President Honorary Life and Honorary Fellow memberships awarded by the Board
