On the Insert tab, in the Media group, click Video, and then click Video from file. In the left pane of the Insert Video dialog box, click the drive or library that contains the video. In the right pane of the dialog box, click the video that you want, and then click Insert. Under Video Tools, on the Format tab, in the Arrange group, click the arrow to the right of Align, and click Align Center. Also under Video Tools, on the Format tab, in the Video Styles group, click the arrow to the right of Video Shape. Under Rectangles, select Round Same Side Corner Rectangle (eighth option from left). Also under Video Tools, on the Format tab, in the Size group, set Width to 9”. Note: If video used does not match the template video size, first clear Lock Aspect Ratio, then set height and width, or use the crop tool to set video shape size. Under Video Tools, on the Format tab, click the arrow in the bottom right corner of the Video Styles group to launch the Format Video dialog box. In the Format Video dialog box, click Position in the left pane, under Position on Slide in the right pane, set Horizontal to 0.5” and Vertical to 0.5”. Also in the Format Video dialog box, click Shadow in the left pane, under Shadow in the right pane, click the arrow to the right of Presets, and under Inner, select Inside Diagonal Top Left (first row, first option from left). On the Animations tab, in the Timing group, click the arrow to the right of Start and select With Previous. Under Video Tools, on the Playback tab, in the Video Options group, select Loop until Stopped.   To reproduce the timeline effects on this slide, do the following: On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click Shapes, and then under Rectangles, select Rectangle (first option from left). Under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Size group, click the bottom right corner to launch the Format Shape dialog box. In the Format Shape dialog box, select Size from the left pane, and then do the following in the Size pane: In the Height box, enter 0.73”. In the Width box, enter 9”. Also in the Format Shape dialog box, select Line Color from the left pane and in the Line Color pane, choose No Line. Also in the Format Shape dialog box, select Fill from the left pane, and then in the Fill pane do the following: In the Color box, select White. In the Transparency box, enter 43%. Also in the Format Shape dialog box, select Shadow from the left pane, in the Shadow pane click the arrow next to Presets, and then under Inner, click Inside Top (first row, second option from the left). Drag the rectangle onto the bottom of the picture. Press and hold SHIFT and select the rectangle and the picture. Under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Arrange group, do the following: Click Align and then click Align Center. Click Align and then click Align Bottom. To reproduce the month labels for the timeline, do the following: On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Text Box, and then on the slide, drag to draw the text box. Type the text you want to appear in the text box (this example uses months of the year, so you might type “JAN”), and then select the text. On the Home tab, in the Font group, choose the Gill Sans MT Condensed font, and a font size of 18. Also on the Home tab, in the Font group, click the arrow next to Font Color, under Theme Colors, select Tan, Background 2, Darker 90% (sixth row, third option from left). On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click Center Text. Select the text box. On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click the arrow under Copy, and then click Duplicate. Repeat the process until there are a total of six text boxes. Select the left text box and position it in the left portion rectangle. Then select the right most text position and position it in the right portion of the rectangle. Press and hold CTRL and select all six text boxes and the rectangle. Under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Arrange group, click Align, and then click Align Middle. Press and hold CTRL and click the rectangle, canceling that selection, keeping the text boxes still selected. Under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Arrange group, click Align, select Distribute Horizontally. Change the text each text box (this example uses months of the year). Select the second from left text box (FEB). On the Home tab, under the Font group, click the Bold icon. To reproduce the vertical line with text effects on this slide, do the following: On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click Shapes, and then under Lines, select Line (first option from left), and then click on slide to produce line. Under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Size group, click the arrow on the bottom right to launch the Format Shape dialog box. In the Format Shape dialog box, select Size in the left pane, and then in the Size pane under Size and Rotate do the following: In the Height box, enter 1”. In the Width box, enter 0”. In the Rotation box, enter 0 degrees. Also in the Format Shape dialog box, click Line Style in the left pane, and in the Line Style pane, set Width to 1 pt and then, under Arrow settings, set the following values: In the Begin type box, select Oval Arrow (second row, third option from the left). In the Begin size box, select Arrow L Size 1 (first row, first option from the left). In the End type box, select Oval Arrow (second row, third option from the left). In the End size box, select Arrow R Size 1 (first row, first option from the left). Also in the Format Shape dialog box, click Line Color in the left pane, and in the Line Color pane, select Solid line, and then set the Color option to White, Background 1 (first row, first option from the left). Select the line. On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click the arrow under Copy, and then click Duplicate. Select the duplicate line. Under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Size group click the arrow on the bottom right to launch Format Shape dialog box, and then select Size from the left pane and in the Size pane enter Height as 2.32”. Press and hold SHIFT and select both lines. On the Home tab, in the Drawing group, click Arrange, point to Align and do the following: Click Align Selected Objects. Click Align Center. Click Align Top. Drag both lines together on the slide to position them under “FEB” of the timeline month labels. Press and hold SHIFT and select both lines and the text box they are under. On the Home tab, in the Drawing group, click Arrange, point to Align and do the following: Type the text you want to appear in the text box, and then select the text. On the Home tab, in the Font group, choose the Gill Sans MT font, and a font size of 20. Also on the Home tab, in the Font group, click the arrow next to Font Color, and then under Theme Colors, click White, Background 1 (first row, first option from the left). Also on the Home tab in the Paragraph group, click Align Text Left. Select the text box, then under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Size group, click the arrow at the bottom right to launch the Format Shape dialog box. In the Format Shape dialog box, select Position in the left pane, and then in the Position pane, do the following: In the Horizontal box, enter 2.65” From Top Left Corner. In the Vertical box, enter 4.1” From Top Left Corner. To reproduce the background on this slide, do the following: On the Design tab, in the Background group, click Background Styles and then select Format Background. In the Format Background dialog box, select Fill in the left pane, and then in the Fill pane select Gradient fill. And do the following: In the Type box, select Linear. In the Direction box, select Linear Down (first row, second option from the left). In the Angle box, enter 90 degrees. Also in the Fill pane, under Gradient stops, click Add or Remove until three stops appear on the slider. Also under Gradient stops, customize the gradient stops that you added as follows: Select the first stop from the left, and then do the following: In the Position box, enter 40% Click the arrow next to Color, and then select More Colors, in the Custom tab enter the following values: Red 0, Green 38, Blue 0. Click OK to close the Colors dialog box. Select the second stop, and then do the following. In the Position box, enter 80% Click the arrow next to Color, and then select More Colors, in the Custom tab enter the following values: Red 0, Green 51, Blue 0. Select the third stop, and then do the following: In the Position box, enter 100% Click the arrow next to Color, and then select More Colors, in the Custom tab enter the following values: Red 0, Green 76, Blue 0. Close the Format Background dialog box.
