Function Lysosomes – Membrane- bounded digestive vesicles Found in the Cytoplasm of Eukaryotic Cells Using degrading enzymes, Lysosomes breakdown proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, and carbohydrates

Structure Outer membrane consists of Plasma and a Lipid Bilayer Inner material contains Hydrolytic Enzyme Mixture

Location

Tay-Sachs Disease Severe disease that causes deterioration of the central nervous system. This disease results in your body losing muscle tone, motor –skills, eye-sight, and difficult breathing. Tay-sachs is caused by an absence or near absence of an enzyme called Hex A or (Hexosaminidase A).
