Welcome to the World of Podium Podium Set Up

Podium Lay out ON > 1 2 3 4 5 6 OFF < VGA Document Camera 1 4 Computer 2 Campus TV 5 Projector VCR 6 Volume 3

How to set up the Projector……. Back, left side of the base, press the Projector button to “on” Turn the podium power on to activate the entire podium set up

How to set up the Projector……. Press the “document camera” button if you want to use the “Elmo” Press the “Campus TV” button , if you want to use the campus TV Press the VCR button, if you want to use the VCR Press the Computer button, if you want to use the computer

Directions for using the Equipment Unlock the podium by typing your five digit code # on the key pad and press * Open the door all the way

Directions for using the Equipment Look for a switch on a power strip, inside the podium cabinet on the upper right. Turn the power on

How to set up the “Elmo”…….. Pull out the Elmo (document camera) Turn on the power for the Elmo which is On the left side corner of “Elmo” Press the “unlock” button to raise the neck of the machine Leave the lens pointed down

How to set up the “Elmo”…….. Fold out the arms of the machine Turn on the upper lamp light for a piece of paper Turn on the lamp base light for a transparency

How to set up the VCR………. Insert the cassette into the player Press “Play” or Use the VCR remote to control the settings

How to set up the Computer…… Turn the computer on Press Fn and F4 together to activate the external VGA port
