Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) Requirements A minimum of 40 hours of community involvement Successful completion of the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) 30 credits consisting of: 18 compulsory credits and 12 elective credits
Community Involvement A minimum of 40 hours of student self-directed activities (can be initiated in the summer before grade 9 and must be completed before graduation) Activities must occur outside of the normal instructional hours. Guidelines of acceptable activities and the roles and responsibilities of student/parent/school will be provided
OSSLT Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test Written in the spring of the Grade 10 year Compulsory for graduation

Bell HS Timetable Semestered Program Daily Schedule Semester 1: September – January Semester 2: February – June 4 courses per semester Daily Schedule 9:05 AM – 3:15 PM 4 - 75 minute periods each day 50 minute lunch Two 10 minute breaks (one morning and one afternoon)
