TV is one of the most popular kind of Mass Media More than 75 % of people in Russia prefer watching TV to other kinds of Mass Media!

Advantages of TV: Keeps viewers on the rest of the world; The best way to escape everyday boring lifetime; Gives an opportunity to see favorite film (music, sport, etc.) stars; It’s free for everyone; Opens horizons; The best way of entertainment; Suits to all members of family

Disadvantages of TV: It’s only for elderly people; Most channels broadcast one and the same programs and films; It’s better to go to the cinema, theatre (go for a walk); Makes one a “coach-potato”; Too much violence; Too much advertisement; We could do without TV!
