Characterized by the apple orchards, fresh cheese, rolling green landscapes and dramatic seaside cliffs, Normandy is the region of France located to the northwest of Paris along the coast of the English Channel. Though once part of Britain (though its been firmly in French hands since the 13th century save for a few British channel islands off the coasts), there a Norman influence remains that gives the region a slightly different cultural feeling to other parts of France. Normandy is an agricultural area made up of bocages – a patchwork of fields divided by high hedges. Normandy is also where much of the countrys dairy is produced. Cattle breeding, cider production and fishing are also important industries that help define this lush and beautiful region of France. With temperate weather yearround (its rainy and chilly in the winter and relatively sunny and mild in the summer), Normandy is a great place to visit during almost any time of the year. From beaches to countryside, most will not regret making the trip to this region if France.

At 3.4 km theres the Hotel Des Phares, situated in the residential quarter of Sainte-Adresse, at only 150m from beaches. The room is booked for you from 11.00am of 1/08, to 10.30am of 3/08; it is a single room with a bathroom, air – conditioning, wi-fi, television, sky and, from the window, you can see the hotels beautiful garden. Port of Morny : people also come do Deauville to see and enjoy the sea. As soon as they enter the town, visitors are welcomed with the sight of yachts moored in the port of Morny, followed by the private port and marinas a little further away. In addition to yaching, Deauville organises a number of high – level maritime events that complete the calendar of regattas organised by the Deauville Yacht Club

Saint Gervais Church, Place Saint Gervais, Avranches 50300; the skull of Saint Auber is the most famous thing that can be found inside the church, the man who founded Mont St Michel which is not far away. As well as this interesting relic, the rest of the church is done up in quite an amazing style, oozing riches and classical Normandy style. The church was built around the middle of the 19th century and fuses several architectural styles to achieve an interesting effect. Day 5/08

MORNING – have your breakfast and then visit MONT SAINT – MICHEL all day. LUNCH – have your lunch in one of the characteristic restaurants on the island. AFTERNOON – visit of the castle in Mont Saint – Michel; the towering turrets of the abbey at Mont Saint – Michel are one of the most iconic images of France. The village and monastery are built on a rocky outcrop in the middle of a tidal flat and connected to the mainland by a causeway. Mont Saint – Michel is considered to be one of the wonders of the western world, and is one of Frances most visited attractions. (35 to visit it) EVENING – return to the hotel and free dinner.
