Free Support for SMEs in Wales Green Business Fund 0% Interest Loans Start 2 Act Carbon Trust SME Network

The Green Business Fund Energy saving opportunity assessments Funded energy saving opportunity assessments either remotely or through one day of on site support to SMEs Funded equipment procurement support Up to five days of funded procurement support – to help procure appropriate equipment suppliers Up to £5k capital contribution towards energy-saving equipment Up to £5,000 capital contribution to SMEs in England, Scotland and Wales for energy saving and renewable energy equipment, covering 15% of the project cost Training workshops Workshops to help small groups of SMEs to work out how best to identify the energy saving opportunities available to them Virtual energy manager guidance programme A programme of support available to SMEs to help them to improve behavioural management of energy efficiency, aimed at organisations with >£50,000 energy spend

Interest-Free Loans for Welsh SMEs Private sector SMEs in Wales can apply for the Carbon Trust’s interest-free, unsecured, energy efficiency loans Loans from £3,000 up to £200,000 are available, and we can offer £1,000 for every 1.5 tonnes of CO2 the project will save annually Loans are designed so that in most cases the forecast reduction in energy costs will be similar to the total repayment amount Repayments are over one to four years Loans are subject to eligibility, terms and conditions. Some of the key exclusions include: New builds Agriculture/horticulture sector Not meeting the minimum trading period or credit score
