In 2012 the Olympic and Paralympic Games are coming to London We can all play our part!

Lots of Olympic and Paralympic athletes live by Values which help them to be the best

What are the Values? - friendship - excellence - respect - inspiration - determination - courage - equality

Today we are thinking about INSPIRATION! Being inspired is all about what and who really gets you going. Our heroes can inspire us. They give us things to aim for and admire.

Who can be a Hero?

Meet one young sporting hero who is aiming high.

Tom Daley Sport: Diving (10m platform!) Date of birth: 21 May 1994 Tom’s sporting Heroes: Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson and Sir Steve Redgrave Tom’s sporting career: He compete at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. He made it to two finals! He was the youngest member of Team GB for more than 40 years. He was just 14 years old! Tom is also the European and British Champion!
